Liv Canada Ambassador Program
Since 2015, Liv Cycling Canada has been working with women around the country who share the same values as passion for cycling as us. The goal of our ambassador program is to develop a network of women cyclists, who work directly with specific Liv retailers to increase Liv brand awareness and their store and within the community.
In 2024, we expanded our Liv Ambassador Program to Liv Cycling Clubs like Cycling with Sarah, to aspire to even bigger and better connection between women cyclists and their communities.
Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift
In 2022 the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift was launched, becoming one of the most prestigious women’s World Tour races. Liv Cycling has been the proud sponsor of the best young rider classification since then, becoming one of the most prominent partners of the race.
Here in Canada, every year we celebrate the TdFFaZ with women-only and women-led rides across the country, activities and events, watch parties, and sharing the love of cycling with fellow female riders. Thanks to our Ambassadors like Cycling with Sarah we’re able to organize these events and share the excitement for women’s cycling!
Liv Cycling Story: meet our founder, Bonnie Tu
What do you do when a cycling brand doesn’t exist for you? Well… you create one.
Liv was founded by Bonnie Tu when she couldn’t find the right gear and bikes for herself. Bonnie was the CFO of Giant Group at the time, and she saw this as an opportunity to make cycling more accessible and inclusive to women by creating a dedicated brand that would cater to the female rider. Liv/giant first launched in 2008, and was relaunched as a standalone brand in 2014 as Liv Cycling.
Bonnie’s story has inspired generations of female cyclists. From getting their first bike, to getting back to it at a later stage in life, and becoming seasoned riders – Bonnie reminds us that it’s never too late to start riding bikes and enjoying the feeling of freedom they bring.

Our partnership with Cycling with Sarah
Our story with Cycling with Sarah started back in 2023, when Sarah Gravelle-MacKenzie and Rose McDonald first were introduced to Liv Cycling by their local bike shop Bikes and Beyond. Their mission to create a supportive space where senior women could come together, enjoy the outdoors and improve their overall health resonated deeply with Liv Cycling’s mission of getting more women on bikes, and they immediately became part of the Liv family.
In 2024, we took Cycling With Sarah on board as one of our first Liv Cycling Clubs – now going on the 3rd year of our partnership. In this time, Cycling with Sarah has grown from only one chapter to three – organizing rides, events and clinics out of 3 locations in Manitoba, and adding Woodcock Cycles and Olympia Cycles to the retailers that support the team.
We’re so excited to count on Cycling with Sarah again this year, to keep supporting and expanding their mission to get more senior women to rediscover the joy of cycling.
